How can I create new micro-trends?

Micro-trends are trend-setting technologies, products, services or new marketing and media innovations. The Trendmanager comprises over 35,000 global and cross-sector micro-trends, which our analysts identify together with our international trend scouting network.

Use the ‘Create’ button in the upper right corner to create additional micro-trends in the Trendmanager. The created company-micro-trends are only visible for you and your colleagues.

After entering a link to the source, you can add further details and information for the micro-trend and create links to macro-trends, industries and an innovation type. In addition, you can explain in a commentary what makes this micro-trend stand out.

The created company-micro-trend can now be found by you and your colleagues in the trend finder and can be added to work spaces or exported like other micro-trends. In the detailed view of the company-micro-trend you can edit or delete it.

Additionally you can filter for company-micro-trends, which were created by you colleagues, in the trend finder. Company-micro-trends can be recognized by an icon and the indication of the user who created this micro-trend.
